One of my all-time favorites!!!! I saw him perform in a one-man show and also a night of question and answers. It was amazing. He even thrilled the audience with some ghost stories.
When I saw the fabulous Charles Pierce perform at WeHo's Backlot, I had the fortune of sitting next to Vincent and his wife Coral. It was toward the end of his life, he was frail, his sight was failing him and he had a hard time breathing. At intermission, we got to talk and he asked me if I would escort him to the restroom and wait outside so I could help him back. I never thought taking someone to the restroom would be such an honor!
How cool that you were able to not only meet Mr. Price but to assist him as well.
And how wild that it was at a Charles Pierce performance. I saw C.P. many times myself, but never with Vincent Price at the next table.
